Col and Coley made it back to town just in time for the championship game.Literally drove to the ball field from Kansas.
Yesterdays games were whoa exciting
& nerve wracking
I alternated between wanting to cry,
yell,
vomit,
and laugh...
(and they're nine?!?)
We left last night dirty, exhausted and happy.
Well, I wasn't really dirty...Jack was.
SO proud of our boys.
oh...
And all night long I dreamt about baseball...
umm...
I'm not sure that was really necessary.
Favorite text from Colten yesterday after I told him I'd let him know the score at the inning:
"k u will be my sports center"
He was cracking me up with his texts.
Benchmarks start here today.
(don't get me started on my opinion of them)
Suffice it to say we soooo did not get to bed early last night.
(Which was teacher suggestion number one during benchmark testing week)
However,
we are super excited about a week of absolutely no homework,
short practices
and 80+ degree days...
Thinking some serious playing outside is in order.
And easy grill-icious dinners.
Nice.
Happy Monday friends!
***Sorry - not a lot of actual baseball photos yesterday...tooooo exciting!!!
