I asked Jared how his day was yesterday.
"Fine"
"What did you do?"
"1st period nothing...
2nd period we watched a video...
3rd period I forgot my gym uniform...
4th period nothing of significance...
5th period we watched a video and learned about a crazy person...
6th period I finished my homework...
7th period I did "bell work" and finished the rest of my homework."
excellent. tax dollars hard at work.
I actually laughed really hard as he was telling me this.
and then wrote it on the back of the magazine I was reading.
(we were at Colten's practice)

also, please note that the 2nd video was a video about the upcoming book fair.
thank goodness they explain to the 8th graders in such detail about the book fair. I'm guessing they've never been to one in say all the other years they've been in school...
